I.P.S.P

The I.P.S.P. “Materials Science and Technology” is an Interdisciplinary Interdepartmental Program that aims to train Engineers and other scientific specialties, in the field of materials, conventional and advanced. This sector constitutes a very important part of the national economy of a country (industry, crafts, etc.) and the development of other economic and technical activities (energy sector, construction sector, etc.) is based on it.

Internationalization of the Postgraduate Study Program

Internationalization of της I.P.S.P. “Materials Science and Technology” is part of the broader project “Support for Internationalization Actions of Foreign Language Speaker Postgraduate Studies of NTUA” (MIS 6004804) which is co-financed by EU through the Operational Programme “Human Resources and Social Cohesion”.
This project aims to internationalize eleven MSc programs at NTUA, providing high level, specialized postgraduate studies in critical technology fields for both the Greek and international economies.

Erasmus+ – Knowledge without Frontiers

The Erasmus programme first began in 1987, and became the leader in student’s participation. Under Erasmus, undergraduate, master and doctoral students can complete a course of studies in technical universities, or an internship inside and outside the EU with which NTUA has the appropriate agreement. Periods abroad range from three months to one academic year, with guaranteed recognition of studies. The School of Chemical Engineering of NTUA has already established a number of agreements with other Universities in Europe.

EULIST European University

The National Technical University of Athens in cooperation with nine other leading Higher Education Institutions in the European Union, have initiated since 2020 the Alliance EULiST “European Universities Linking Society and Technology” that aims to be the central actor in a knowledge square where education, research, innovation and society come together in the shared production of knowledge.

EULiST intends to drive development of high quality, innovative course content, equipping students to face a future where technological and social developments intertwine. Flexible learning and modes of delivery will extend the reach of educational offers to a wider community of learners. Research and Innovation will address challenges identified by societal stakeholders, promoting involvement of new researchers and external actors.
